Last week, some ‘weird’ results from Google search induced a great number of articles and forum comments.

Also, as it looks, we are not dealing with some speculations or isolated events, because Matt Cutts invited everyone to leave a feedback in order to determine the exact reasons why these changes are being manifested.

It didn’t take to long for this update to be named. Interestingly, users have accepted it from Matt Cutts who asked users to enter a code name- Dewey- when leaving feedback.

Even though Google is constantly working on the improvement of search results, Dewey seems to be a bit larger update (or as many would say: dramatic changes)

Dramatic changes or not, some of annotations show that noticable improvement has been made on the first result page for entries dating several years ago. Also, we may notice that many subdomains occupy more than one position in the first of ten search results…
