It is surprising to me that the new feature Google made available 2-3 days ago, didn’t make a stronger response. First of all, it is about an interesting product that could be of interest to a large number of site owners.
AdManager could be defined as a platform that will run in backround of your web pages and serve the managment and selling of advertising space on your site — it will do the job that the majority of pages fail to do in order to turn its web project into serious destination for potential advertisers (and profit, of course).
I used the term ‘serious’ because many of you will choose to advertise only if a developed strategy is made, if impression data along with the prices and interface used to detailed monitoring is prepared, and if target users option is set in the right way (geotargeting, operating system division, etc.). Of course, this feature wili be free — but just for the choosen ones, because the AdManager registration is possible only with the invitation (like it was the case with Gmail).
Keep it simple, stupid
After you recieve the invitation, all you have to do is to specify the site space that will be intended for the ad display (e.g. ad proportions 468×60 or 160×600) and generate HTML and JavaScript code that will be set within targeted page. After that, you just need to upload the ad and activate it:


Reports, statistics and a lot more
To make things neat and to have the insight into everything that is happening, you are offered a number of reports you can create and run according to different preferences such as: total sales, data arranging according to the advertisers, number of ads…

For whome is all this intended for?
Considering the fact that the product is free, I believe that many of you will find a reason to at least try this utility.
After all, everyone who was thinking about placing ads on their page, the solution could be found in this utility.
Beside the simple interface already recognizable as Google trademark, there are more advantages: statistics, reports, simple implementation, control of ad display, segmentation according to display location, languages…
I believe it is more than enough to register and wait for your invitation.
