By the end of the day, it is expected from Google to announce its financial report for the last year’s last quartal. A few days ago, Yahoo did a similar thing — it is confirmed that Yahoo has a quite negative balance (23% decrease of profit, in the last 8 quartals Yahoo is recording negative balance). And the one to blame is, guess who, no other than Google!
Now, the reason I am writing this post is not to talk about some things that everyone already knows by heart, but because I find interesting the shares controlled by Google and others. To make a long story short — complete domination — and as it looks, there is not a single rival to compete with Google.
Regarding the fact that a number of statistics indicators and researches are based on data relating to the USA, it is interesting that 48% of Google income comes from outside of the USA(what would Steve Jobs say to this ;), while 77% of total financial assets spent on some search network came through Google. This is not so odd if you take into consideration that Google search and content network cover over 85% of Australian and European market. The only ‘intruder’ is the Japaneese market that is fond of Yahoo and not of the all present, mighty big G.
